Alder
Alder (she/her) is a cis biracial queer settler, living gratefully in Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ territories. Her full spectrum practice is rooted in profound respect for body autonomy, and centres clients as competent decision makers in their healthcare. Alder balances her evidence-informed approach with respect for all ways of knowing and decision making.
Alder trained as an abortion doula with Birth Mark Support, and has additional training in grief & pregnancy loss from The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath, and Death.
Alder is one of the planners complementing the dreamers on our team! When not engaged in client care, you can find her bridging gaps in community care networks, sipping a cup of (hopefully!) hot tea, and keeping up with her young family.

Sweetgale
Sweetgale (any pronouns) is a white settler person doing a little bit of everything in life, including organizing with this abortion collective.
They have been a doula for some years now supporting people in different stages of their reproductive journey and has been providing direct and community abortion care for two years.
Outside of this work they prioritize community organizing within food justice, harm reduction, and solidarity action as well as being in bed or eating treats as often as possible.

Juniper
Juniper (she/her) is a queer settler who has been immersed in the world of reproductive justice for the past 4 years. She is a full-spectrum doula, but feels especially called to the work of abortion and advocacy. Prior to this she worked as a full-spectrum (which includes abortion!) doula in Tkaronto, supporting folks of all ages, but especially working with youth as they navigated different reproductive experiences.
She trained as an abortion doula with Birth Mark Support and has additional training in options counselling through All Options.
In her spare time Juniper loves trying new NYT cooking recipes, jumping in the ocean, and tending to the plants in her garden.
